Private Pilot License (PPL)
Ever dream of taking to the blue skies? The Private Pilot’s License is the first step for most recreational, and all commercial pilots.
The Private License as it allows for the pilot to carry multiple passengers and build experience by earning other ratings, or taking weekend trips to new destinations. As a foundation for all future flying activities, students will learn about Aircraft Systems, Air Law, Navigation Techniques, and Meteorology.
Entry Requirements
Prerequisites
- 15 Years of Age
- Aviation Medical Category 1, 3, or 4
Due to delays within Transport Canada, students may start training while the medical is being processed. They are not permitted to commence the solo stage of the curriculum until the medical is received.
License Requirements
- Successful Written Exam (PPAER)
- Successful Flight Test
- Category 1 or 3 Medical
