58th Annual Fly Day Supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada

On Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Ottawa Flying Club, in partnership with Cystic Fibrosis Canada, will host the 58th Annual Fly Day — a unique community event offering the public an opportunity to see Ottawa from above while supporting an important cause.

This year, proceeds from Fly Day will support Cystic Fibrosis Canada and its work to improve the lives of Canadians living with cystic fibrosis through research, advocacy, and access to high-quality care.

Fly Day will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting, at the Ottawa Flying Club, 20 Lindbergh Private, located off Hunt Club Road just east of Riverside Drive.

Throughout the day, members of the public can take a 20-minute sightseeing flight over Ottawa with Ottawa Flying Club pilots. Flights are $45 per person, with proceeds supporting Cystic Fibrosis Canada.

Fly Day has been an Ottawa Flying Club tradition for nearly six decades and is a great opportunity for families and members of the community to experience general aviation firsthand. Scheduled during the fall season, the event also offers passengers a spectacular aerial view of Ottawa and the surrounding area’s fall colours.
