Instrument Rating
An Instrument rating allows the holder to fly in IMC conditions (Instrument Meteorological Conditions). The Ottawa Flying Club is able to provide a Group 1 (Multi Engine) and Group 3 (Single Engine) curriculum.
The Ottawa Flying Club is proud to partner with Premier Aviation Training to provide the Group 1 Instrument Rating course. Premier Aviation utilizes a wealth of knowledge from current and former airline pilots.
Entry Requirements
Prerequisites
- Successful Written Exam (INRAT)
- Aviation Medical Category 1 or 3
- 25 Hours of Instrument Training
- 50 Hours of PIC - XC
License Requirements
- Successful Flight Test
- Category 1 or 3 Medical
