Multi-Engine Training

  • Fly a Multi-Engine aircraft
  • Fly in VFR (visual flight rules) weather conditions

Before starting the Multi-Engine training course, students must obtain the Private Pilot’s License

12 hours* total including:

  • – 8 hours Dual Flight Time
  • – 2 hours Ground School
  • – 2 hours Simulator Time

  • Transport Canada flight test

All pilots are required to complete an aviation medical with a Civil Aviation Medical Examiner. A valid Category 3 Aviation Medical is required prior to beginning training.

  • Fly a Multi-Engine aircraft in IMC (instrument meteorological conditions) weather

Before starting the Group 1 IFR training, students will need to obtain a PPL with a night rating, or a CPL. Students will also need to complete the INRAT exam prior to commencing training.

28 hours* total including:

  • 13 hours Dual Flight Time
  • 5 hours Ground School
  • 10 hours Simulator Time
