CPL Ground School

The Ottawa Flying Club will be offering a Commercial Pilot's Licence Ground School starting 10 January 2011 at 18:30 in the class room at OFC, 20 Lindbergh Private, Ottawa, and will run each Monday and Wednesday evening for approximately 14 weeks.

This ground school class is required for anyone wishing to earn a Transport Canada Commercial Pilot's Licence. The completion of a PPL Ground School is required to take the class, but no previous flying experience is required at the start of the course. However, a minimum of a 100 hours of flight time is required to write the TC CPL written exam.

The class will be held tentatively twice a week, with classes three hours in length. The total number of course hours is 80 hours.

A minimum of 8 participants will be required for the course to take place. Participants will be contacted if course start dates change.

The cost for attendance is $400.00 + HST.
